Continuing research, extending back to the 1950s, on the Neolithic and Bronze Age settlement and flint, stone and metal artefact distributions across Northern England, defined as counties north of the River Welland to the Scottish border. Also determining inter-regional exchange of artefact types and material. Previous research contained in Liverpool University MA thesis 'The Neolithic Cultures of Northern England', and contribution of papers to nationally focused publication and regional synthesise such has 'The Archaeology of Yorkshire (2003). Work to continue until old age or the summons to the great excavation cometh!.
