I am currently carrying out reserach into the archaeological and environmental evolution of the Glaslyn Estuary, Gwynedd. The project has been going for two years and to date we have carried extensive survey in the estuary and the excvation of a multi-period (Mesolithic - Iron Age) rockshelter at Garreg Hylldrem. The project is a joint project between The School of History, Welsh History and Archaeology, Bangor University (Dr Gary Robinson) and School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University (Dr Mike Roberts). I am in the process of looking at the wider context of our work and would like to know if any artefacts etc. have been found within our study area and details of what has been found.
A reference maybe sought from my colleague Professor Nancy Edwards (School of History, Welsh History and Archaeology): n.edwards@bangor.ac.uk. (01248 382154)
