Trends in the deposition of metal-smithing tools

I am finishing my PhD thesis this year and access to spatial data would be invaluable for my work. For my thesis I am researching metalsmithing tools and have been compiling a database of hammers, anvils, chisels and other metalsmithing tools in Britain. This will be entered into ArcGIS to see if there are trends in deposition or types of hammers.
