The Don Valley in Prehistory: Upland and Lowland Interactions and Developments

Principal investigator: Tim Cockrell
Level: PhD level research

My post-graduate research project is called "The Don Valley in Prehistory: Upland and Lowland Interactions and Developments". By using a holistic comparative methodology, contextually, informed by an approach combining landscapes and social based routines and activities, I ask the question "is it possible to detect senses of regional identity in the study area during prehistory, and how those senses of identity ebb and flow over time.

This research is being conducted part-time, and is likely to continue for another 4 years.
