An investigation into material remains from the Kent and Sussex Weald from the 4th, 5th and 6th centuries to explore the possibility of a British enclave in the area for my MA dissertation. I aim to extend this research at PhD level to possible enclaves throughout England. The dissertation is due in September, with PhD research over the following 4 years.
