A small, copper alloy model of a quadruped with a long tail, possibly a lioness, leopard or similar. It is missing most of its very thin legs. The body is curled around, the head being inside this curl, facing semi-sideways, with a posisble short mane marked on the back. The waist is narrow and the haunches are well defined. The long tail with a tail tuft is curled over its back, and back on itself. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman centre looped cosmetic pestle. It is formed from a long curved rod, circular in cross-section and becoming narrower towards each end, which terminates in a blunt point, one of which terminates in an old break.  Projecting from the centre of the upper edge is a flattened sub-circular loop, which is circular in cross-section.
