An incomplete Roman copper-alloy plate brooch, dating to c.AD 43 - 125. The incomplete brooch is in the form of a wheel. Roughly half of the frame and pin are missing. The frame is cicular and undecorated, in the centre are two incomplete spokes, two spokes and the centre are missing. The frame is slightly recessed. The rear of the brooch has retained a small rectangular catchplate and two lugs to house the now mising pin. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy continental plate brooch, dating to c.AD 75 - 300. The main body of the brooch is circular with a domed centre, it is concave at the rear. There are six circular projections equally spaces around the outer edge, two are missing, the upper and lower lugs support the catchplate and now missing pin. The two left lugs are pierced. The centre of the brooch has a hollowed circular mount, between the outer edge and centre is a raised rib. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy Aesica brooch, dating to c.AD 25 - 75. The upper bow and wings remain, the lower bow, catchplate and pin are missing. The cylindrical wings are undecorated and hollow, the spring pin is missing. Projecting from the wings is a curved trapezoidal plate which is decorated in the centre with a foliate design. The lower corners terminate in globular knops. The fragment tapers slightly in the centre and terminates in a knop, which would have joined to the lower bow. The rear is undecorated.
