A cast copper-alloy fragment of a post medieval purse bar arm consisting of a globular head (c. 10mm diameter and 12.7mm long) and part of the shaft. The head is decorated with five deeply moulded spiraling grooves (or wrythen). The bar is circular in cross-section at the head and flattens towards a break around 40mm from the head. This purse bar is cf. William's (2018) Class J. See also SWYOR-00985A, BH-F74403 and particularly IOW-4CC504 for a more complete example of this type, with similar dimensions and patina.

Medieval copper alloy single loop oval buckle and plate. The buckle has an externally C-shaped frame with an internally oval loop, offset and narrowed strap bar. The slender triangular wrap-around pin is still in situ. The rectangular plate is separate from the frame and folds back on itself around the strap bar. At the fold the corners and the central notch of the plate are cut away to accommodate the buckle frame and pin respectively. A complete lead weight probably dating to the Medieval to Post Medieval period (c. AD 1200-1700). The object is oval in plan with a casting seam down one long side. There is a central, sub-circular suspension hole which is slightly wider at one end than the other. The upper edge of one side has been flattened slightly. The object is undecorated and has a mid-grey patina.  Comparable examples recorded on the PAS database include: BH-A9CE0E; BH-A9EF85; and WMID-1F5789 and all suggest the use as a possible line or net weight.
