A copper alloy probable buckle fragment of Post Medieval date, c. AD 1550 - 1650.
The object is only a fragment and consists of the centre part of the outer edge frame. It is pointed oval in cross section. It is decorated with a sub-triangular moulding, containing a raised lozenge shape and two annulets. Either side of this moulding is a raised collar. The reverse is undecorated.
The buckle is green / grey in colour with an even surface patina.
Measurements: length 16.4mm, width 6.6mm, thickness 3.9mm, weight 1.2 grams.

A Medieval lead alloy mount dating from the 14th to early 16th century. The mount is a three lobed form with the lobes having cross hatched decoration. The mount would have attached to a leather strap or belt by an integral hollow circular rivet, which forms the central eyelet.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy stirrup terminal of late Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon/Anglo-Scandinavian) date. The terminal has a hollow back that is semi-cylindrical in form and missing part of its attachment end due to old breaks. This contains traces of a white substance, probably used to solder the terminal to the now missing stirrup and is closed at the base. A Late Medieval lead alloy cross and pellets token, London series, AD1425-1490. The obverse has a Tin workers strake, in the field surrounded by a border of oblique rays. The reverse has a central short cross pattee with a ring and dot in each angle surrounded by a border of oblique rays. Mitchiner and Skinner (1984:146 Plate 5 fig.42) illustrates a similar token. The oblique rays run in a clockwise direction upon both faces suggesting a London rather than Paris origin. A Post Medieval cast lead alloy token dating to AD 1640-1700. This is a Powell type 2. The obverse has the date 16 / []. The reverse has initials T . B . B in triangle formation (WS with P above) cast in relief with three pellets in triangle formation. This arrangement of letters is very similar to the trade tokens which date to AD 1648-1674.
