A Late Iron age to early Roman cast copper alloy Nauheim derivative La Tene III brooch, dating to c. AD 25-70. The whole brooch has been constructed from a single piece of copper alloy. The head has an integrally cast spring and pin which is retained. The bow is flat and decorated with a medial groove and two grooves defining the outer borders. It tapers to the foot which is incomplete and has a stump of a catchplate. cf. Bayley & Butcher (2005: 54, 230) Nos. 1-2, Hull T10A.

The plate is flat, 21mm in length, and of lobed and waisted form, with three lobes decorated with notched margins; the terminal lobes have transverse grooves. The reverse is flat with an integrally cast rectangular strap loop comprised of two overlapping lugs, now bent.

A Medieval copper alloy bar mount and pendant loop. The ring is 9.6mm in diameter, with a flat cross section and a flat rear edge forming a suspension bar. It is held by a bar mount which is comprised of a folded J-shaped strip of copper alloy, 11.8mm in length, which loops around the ring and has the reverse end held in place by a rivet. There is no decoration. Circa 14th century.

An incomplete medieval cast copper alloy single loop buckle with its plate. The frame probably would have had a thickened and decorated front edge, however it has broken across both sides close to the bar which is recessed and offset and retains the plate which is wrapped around it. The plate is undecorated and tapers towards the rear end. A portion of the copper alloy pin is retained on the bar.

A retouched tertiary flake of dark grey brown flint, probably of later Neolithic to Bronze Age date. The flake is trapezoidal with a projecting point on one corner of the distal edge. This edge has short abrupt retouch along its length with what appears to be a small burin removal at the tip of the point to refine it for use as a piercing or engraving tool.

A curved flint flake, apparently removed from the cutting end of a Neolithic flaked axehead. The flake appears to represent a corner of the cutting end of the axehead and has a triangular cross section with removal scars on both sides and a concave inner surface which is the break from the tool. the low bulb-of-percussion and feathered ends to the flake suggest this was a deliberate, contemporary removal, probably for sharpening or finishing purposes.
