A curved flint blade of probable Bronze Age date, 53.8mm in length and struck from a secondary flake of grey flint. The distal end has been worked into a triangular point with short semi-abrupt retouch on both sides. The flake has cortex on both faces at the proximal end suggesting that it derived from a nodule with a thick cortical layer.

An enamelled copper alloy plate brooch. It is circular, a raised border on the outer circumference and approximately halfway along the diameter forms a section, inside which cells for enamel are formed by alternate high and low sections. On the raised parts there are traces of a blue enamel. The central section of the brooch would have been divided into six triangular sections, like wheel spokes, which would have also have been enamelled. Three of these remain. The object is sub-rectangular with a D-shaped section, rounded corners and ends. Often referred to as ‘finger’ shaped. The object is fairly regular in form, suggesting it was cast, and no signs of hammering are present.
The metal has a dark green/brown patina and is worn. The object is 54.7mm long, 15.4mm wide, 12.2mm thick and weighs 44.6g.

An incomplete copper-alloy pin of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 700 - 900.
The pin comprises a spherical head and circular sectioned shaft. The head is decorated with sinuous spiralling grooves, a decorative type known informally as 'wrythen-headed'. The shaft extends from the base of the head and terminates in a worn break. A collar is present at the junction between the head and shaft.
The metal has a dark brown patina and survives in good condition. The pin is 31mm long, 9.5mm in diameter at the head and 1.8mm in diameter at the shaft, and weighs 3.3g.

A copper-alloy Roman nummus, possibly a contemporary copy of Decentius (AD 351-353), dating to the period c.AD 351-353 (Reece period 18). SALVS DD NN AVG ET CAES reverse type depicting a Chi-Rho between alpha and omega. Prototype of the mint of Trier. The slightly irregular die axis combined with a blundered reverse legend suggests this is likely a contemporary copy.

A complete copper alloy lunate harness mount dating from the Roman period (AD43-200).
The object is lunate or crescent shaped with the main body in the form of curving folds, tapering from the centre to join at the terminals where there is a swirl inwards at both ends. At the left there appears to be an open (possibly broken?) loop; this terminal is also a little higher. The reverse is concave. There is an attachment stud at the base of the curve with a large almost flat top.
The patina of the metal is of a dark green to grey colouring with some lighter patches.

A complete copper-alloy military harness strap slide of Roman date, c.AD 100 – 300.
The object consists of a front plate comprising two globular hemispherical terminals joined by a waisted central rectangular panel, and a loop. The front plate is D-shaped in section with a concave interior on the reverse. Projecting from the reverse is an integral rectangular loop extending along the long axis. This loop is rectangular in section.

The button has a circular head with a gently domed top with a pellet in the centre. The front is decorated with irregularly spaced grooves running from the pellet to the edge. These grooves contain very small transverse incised grooves. A large sub-circular area of the head is missing, it cannot be determined if this is the result of damage or an intentional feature.

A complete lead-alloy spindle whorl of Medieval to Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1100 - 1600. Walton Rogers Form A2.
The spindle whorl is shaved bi-conical (asymmetrical) with a central perforation running through it. Both surfaces have faint traces of moulded decoration though the object is worn obscuring the exact design. The design appears to contain small rectangular cells on the faces and exterior edges.
