A complete lead steelyard weight of possible Roman date. It is biconical in shape with the corroded remains of an iron rod protruding from either end, with one suspension loop intact. The surface of the metal is heavily corroded. Although steelyard weights were in use from the Roman to post-medieval periods, biconical examples with iron extending from both ends tend to be of Roman date. Fragment of a Post-Medieval buckle dating to the period AD 1720-1790. Three quarters of the buckle frame is missing. The fragment is a section of what would originally have been a drilled frame to hold a separate pin or spindle. The frame fragment is L-shaped in plan, comprising the first section of one rounded corner with about 3/4 of the adjacent long side and a short section of the adjacent short side, and is slightly curved. An incomplete Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type dating to the period AD 75-175. The brooch is missing the lower part of its bow and catchplate, its left wing cap, and the spring and pin mechanism. This copper alloy brooch has semi-cylindrical wings with one remaining perforated wing cap containing a small circular knop from the spring. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c. AD 1720 - 1790. The buckle is a sub-rectangular knee buckle with a drilled frame to house a separate chape. The frame is rectangular in cross section and has curved corners. The buckle would originally had a chape with a projecting double spiked tongue but this is missing. The metal has a dark grey patina with patches of brown rust where the chape would have been. The buckle is 21.45mm long, 14.68mm wide, 1.53mm thick and weighs 1.05 grams. A fragment from a copper alloy clapper bell, dating to the late Medieval to Post-Medieval period. The fragment comes from the lower everted rim of the bell. Two parallel moulded raised bands, spaced c. 3mm apart, can be seen to run parallel to the bottom edge, the lowest band being part of the bell's lower rim. The interior of the fragment, is smooth and undecorated. The metal has a dark brown patina with the appearance of pewter, gunmetal or 'bell bronze', indicating a high tin content. A complete Post Medieval lead palm guard, c.AD 1600-1900. The palm guard is broadly oval in plan and D-shaped cross section; all the edges are uneven. The obverse face is slightly convex and has the in-print of woven cloth, possibly from where is pressed against the users glove, and in centre is a slight circular depression of the type commonly found on the surface of palm guards. A cast lead alloy Medieval button dating to c.AD 1300-1550. This button has a slightly bent profile and a wide diameter, with two central holes set in a circular recess. These are now filled with soil. This artefact has a few surface marks and an even grey surface patina. The button is 24.29mm in diameter, 3.02mm thick and weighs 12.07 grams. An incomplete lead pin of uncertain date. The pin is oval in cross section and takes the form of a long narrowing point in plan. The widest section is slightly flattened on its terminal and it narrows to a slightly chisel like pointed terminal.  It is an off whilte colour with an irregular surface.  This object is 28.56mm long, (4.45mm wide at the flattened end), it is 1.634.2mm thick at the point and weighs 1.33 grams

A complete Medieval to Post Medieval lead-alloy spindle whorl dating to circa AD 1100-1550. It is broadly circular in plan and plano-convex in section. The central hole is circular with an internal diameter of 8.65mm. The piece is heavily worn.
