A replica of Cnut of Northumbria (c. 900 - 905). This coin was found in an area of known Viking Age re-enactments and was examined by the FLO and Dr John Naylor, and was found to be a modern reproduction on the following grounds,
Although the coin has inscriptions and obverse/reverse designs which are faithful to the originals, there are problems when you examine the coin closely:
the combination of obverse (EC-1ii) and reverse (CR-G) type seen on this coin isn't seen in the Cuerdale hoard (which is a large sample)
the letter forms are quite scruffy…

Pottery. Fine oxidised fabric with slight mica dusting on its surface. Miniature wheel thrown-vessel, in the form of a jug with plain rim – no pouring spout – and with a biconical body with expanded pedestal base [turning lines on base] and with an applied corrugated strap handle with a trefoil lower end. Copper alloy mount, as kindly identified by the finder. A small pressed metal plate with a leaf-shape flanked by pellets nested in spirals and with a row of pellets above; all details appearing reversed on the back. Green colorant, perhaps enamel or paint, appears on the protruding rounded parts of the motif. Presumably this was set in to a flat surface. Suggested date: Modern, 1900-1920

A modern cast iron object in the form of Tattershall castle.
It is concavo-convex with the decorated side probably depicting Tattershall castle. The reverse has a rectangular cross-section lug with an iron circular cross-sectioned loop probably one of a series of loops forming a chain. There is illegible and very worn writing along the bottom edge.

A cast lead alloy cat. It is a plump, contented cat in the seated position. The back of the model is quite crude although the features of the hip and leg are present, but the face is well moulded. It has been painted yellow. It seems to be a bred, domesticated cat and this is therefore probably a model of a twentieth century cat. The finder notes that the base is possibly damaged and it may have sat on a platform of some sort.

A complete silver, or other modern white metal, bracelet dating to the later Post Medieval or modern period (c.AD1800-2000).
The bracelet is in the form of a slightly misshapen thin silver hoop. There is a soldered join forming the hoop, and two slight knops on one edge of the hoop, positioned at 5 and 9 o'clock in relation to the join. There are no hallmarks or other stamps present.

The bracelet was discovered on a section of beach close to an access point/steps following a high tide that had stripped away some of the sand to reveal the clay below .

A copper alloy arm from a Victorian or Edwarian "skirt lifter" comprising a curved rod, of circular cross section, which terminates in a 5.73 mm wide bowl at one end and a asymmetrically flattened terminal at the other, which is broken across the site of a rounded hole of diameter 2.92 mm. There is a deep nick on the underside near the bowl end. The arm is bent.

An incomplete copper alloy Bell of Modern date (AD 1800-1950). The object is composed of sheet copper alloy and is sub-spherical in form. There is a horizontal seam where the upper and lower plates attach, to form an upper and lower hemisphere. At the apex of the upper hemisphere is an incomplete loop which is rectangular in section with a break at is apex. There is a break in the upper hemisphere resulting in the loss of approximately 40 % of the hemisphere. The lower hemisphere has two circular sound holes, between which is a rectangular sound slot.

A complete lead-alloy bag seal of modern date, c.AD 1850 - 1950.
The seal is circular with a sub-rectangular section and is comprised of two discs of metal the rim of which is perforated by two slots/channels running through the diameter to the other side. The holes would have been for wire or textile ligatures which were used to secure a bag.
The obverse is stamped with a crowned oval trademark design with banner reading WEBBS and the inscription REGISTERED TRADE MARK stamped around the flan edge.

Post Medieval-Modern silver plated copper alloy button, c.AD 1800-1950.
This is the body of a button with silver plating over a copper alloy core. The button is circular in plan and sub-rectangular in section, with slightly damaged faces and rounded edges. Both faces have a plain central boss and a deep rim, decorated with curved diagonal lines. The reverse has a break in the centre of the face where the attachment loop would have been soldered on.

A thin, plain, gold Post Medieval finger ring dating circa AD 1724 - 2000.
The ring is severely bent and mis-shapen, becoming sub-anular in plan, U-shaped in profile and D-shaped in cross-section. The surface of the ring is a uniform and even gold colour, with no decoration present. There is a surface break visible near one of the bend points.
