The object is composed of a sphere of copper-alloy, with dark green glossy patina and minor surface pitting.  The object’s function is unclear but could be a Gaming Piece or Ball Bearing. Diameter: 12.4mm, Weight: 8.60 g The metal is dark green with a smooth patina. Due to the lack wear marks, it seems more likely that this might be a Post-Medieval gaming piece.  Compare: BH-DBB686, NLM-56E8F6, SUR-2CE255 and SWYOR-CF23D7.

There is a slot in one edge and a bifurcated slot in the opposite edge, to function as a drawstring bag closure. It is broadly oval in plan.
