A scattered hoard of 69 short-cross coins, comprising 46 pennies, 22 cut halfpennies and one cut farthing.
41 pennies, 15 cut halfpennies and one cut farthing were found between 11th and 18th December 2021; five more pennies and seven more cut halfpennies were found between 18th December 2021 and 26th February 2022.

A fragment of an Early Medieval copper-alloy cruciform brooch dating to circa AD 475-550. The extant piece consists of a side knop which would have been attached to the headplate of the brooch.. It is dumbbell shaped in plan and plano-convex in section, with a flat reverse. The front face consists of two lobes joined by a constricted mid-setion. Each lobe is decorated with three incised transverse grooves. At the efge of one of the lobes is a shall median rectangular groove which would have facilitated attachment to the brooch. A complete Medieval copper-alloy Medieval buckle dating to circa AD 1250-1350. It is a comprised of a single rectangular looped frame. The frame is rectangular sectioned. The outer edge carries a separately made copper alloy roller in which the externally made pin rests. The pin is wrapped around the bar and tapers into a point. It is rectangular sectioned.
The buckle is consistent with Meols Type 12 (Griffiths, Philpott and Egan 2006).

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy buckle dating to circa AD 1250-1350. The extant piece consists of the outer edge and roller of the frame and two short prongs bow representing the remainder of the frame. The frame would have been a D-shaped loop. The frame is plano-convex in section. The outer edge has two pointed knops. Between them is a narrow circular section around which is a separately made copper alloy roller. A joining seam is evident on the roller indicating the piece was formed by a single sheet of copper alloy.

A fragment of a Medieval copper-alloy buckle dating to circa AD 1350-1450. It is a single D-shaped buckle with integral forked spacer. The extant piece comprises a small portion of the frame, now survived by a single prong projecting from the bar. The frame is plano-convex in section. The bar has a raised transverse collar. Only one of the forked spacers now survives. It is rectangular-sectioned and tapers into a point.
Similar examples are depicted in Egan and Pritchard 2002: pg 79-81.

Very corroded Medieval gilt copper alloy champlevé enamelled convex casket mount or mount from a cross in the form of robed male figure, a priest wearing a dalmatic, much detail is lost. The lower end is missing. The head and neck are solid but the remainder of the reverse is hollow. Small areas of blue enamel and gilding are extant. The eyes comprise blue glass pellets. The surviving rivet hole at the chest is filled with decayed iron. Extant height 69mm. Width 22mm. Thickness of body 5mm, of head 10mm.

Incomplete copper-alloy openwork mount of medieval date. About half of a (presumably originally circular) roundel survives, with a frame c. 3-4mm wide surrounding a central motif whose surviving part consists of three arms, the central one oval and the two flanking ones narrower and curving outwards. Beyond the frame, in line with the oval arm, is a large projection in the shape of a fleur-de-lis, with a groove across the rectangular base. Copper-alloy palstave of type Carleton, middle Bronze Age date, Taunton phase (c. 1400-1100 BC), complete except for much of the cutting edge. When viewed from the side, the flanges are rounded. Down one side is a narrow casting seam with hammer marks across it; in the centre of the opposite side is a side-loop.

A probable Medieval copper-alloy harness pendant dating to circa AD 1200-1400. Plano-convex in section, the piece consists of five - broadly tear-shaped - lobes representing petals arranged in a 2-2-1 formation. At the apex is a transverse projecting collar set below a D-shaped suspension lug. The reverse is plain. The front face retains significant traces of gilding. It has a brown-green patina.
No precise parallel can be found on the database. The gilding would suggest a Medieval date although the patina could potentially suggest a Post Medieval date.

A complete Post Medieval hooked tag (dress fastener) dating to circa AD 1550-150. It consists of a sub-oval plate carrying moulded floriate decoration. At the apex is a rectangular suspension loop. Emerging from the lower edge is a reverted hook. The piece is plano-convex in section.
It is consistent with Read's Class E, Type 3 group with a very similar example illustrated in 2008: pg 103, no 400.

An incomplete Post Medieval copper-alloy hooked tag (dress fastener) dating to circa AD 1550-1650. The whole piece is plano-convex in section. It is comprised of a rectangular apex loop. The body is sub-circular and openwork. Carrying a symmetrical design, it has two rows of circular openwork elements on each upper flank arranged in a 2-2 formation. In the centre is circular element comprised of circular pellets. The lower element of the front face is decorated with a moulded raised chevron. The hook is now survived only by a short stump.
