The "A" in the reverse legend is inverted. Memorial coinage by Danish settlers. The inscriptions are blundered, which is typical of the later coins within the St Edmund series. Probably North, Vol. I, p. 79, no. 483/2.

Weight: 1.23g. Diameter: 19.1mm. Thickness: 1.1mm. The edge of the flan from 9 o'clock - 1 o'clock (obverse) is badly chipped, removing the outer circle in this area.

The inscriptions are blundered, which is typical of the later coins within the St Edmund series. On both sides the final letter is an S on its side, which is not unusual in this period.
