Complete copper-alloy Roman strap end. With a elongated oval body a terminal knop and horizontal attachment end with a central integral loop set at right angles to the plane of the strap end. The front face is decorated with annulets arranged in lines hoirzontally and vertically. Most similar in attachment device to a Tortworth strap end (Henry 2022, 84-85), but also reminiscent in shape to Amphora shaped strap ends. An almost complete copper alloy strap end or nail cleaner, dating to the late Roman to early medieval period, c. AD 350-450. The body of the strap end is oval in shape, at one end there is a circular loop projecting. This sits perpendicular to the body and is worn and broken. At the opposite end it narrows to a neck, there is a circular loop either side. Above this there is a semi circular section with an impressed double ring design, with a straight collar above. A late Roman copper-alloy nail cleaner strap end, dating to c.AD 300 - 400. It consists of a cylindral phallus and flattened leaf shaped blade, a suspension loop is in the centre. The phallic end consists of an elongated cylindrical shaft that terminates in a flattened oval tip. A probable Roman copper-alloy strap end dating to circa 43-410. It is sub-rectangular in plan and plano-convex in section. It tapers from a wide, flat attachment end which has two rounded knops forming a heart shape, into a moulded, bulbous terminal. The flat plate would probably have been, split at the end for attachment. The surfaces are highly abraded and worn with now decorative detail surviving. Similar examples are recorded under: NLM-8C4137; NMS-0EC486; NMS-B67D36; ASHM-4ABA41 and NMS-0EC486.

The top has an incomplete circular rivet hole (internal diameter: 2.2 mm) before extending downwards to a rectangular collar containing a second rivet hole. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy strap end dating to circa AD 350-410. It is comprised of a fishtail terminal and a thick amphora shaped body which is split to receive the fabric. Partial iron corrosion surrounds one edge. At the apex is an incomplete loop. The front face of the amphora is now heavily worn but appears to be decorated with two opposed incised median transverse grooves. The same design is replicated on the fishtail.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy amphora-shaped strap end or strap fitting dating to the Roman period (AD 300-410). The upper part of the object is missing, but would probably have had two attachment loops (compare BH-D46306). The terminal is vase-shaped with a small knop at the base. A sub-circular opening is located in the centre near the top of the vase. Extending above, on either side, is a curved arm reminiscent of amphora handles. A small open cell is located on the inside of both handles.

There is an worn break at the base where the pointed tip is missing, and another at the attachment end, leaving behind only stubs of the amphora neck and handles. One face is covered with ten punched ring-and-dots, closely-packed in a hexagonal lattice arrangement (like a honeycomb): a central column of four, flanked on each side by a staggered column of three.
