A hammered silver coin dating from the Medieval period: a cross-and-crosslets type 'Tealby' penny of Henry II (1154-1189) probably Bust C or E dating from AD 1161 - 1170. It has a maximum diameter of 20.40mm and a thickness (it is slightly bent) of 1.77mm. It weighs 1.34g. The coin is creased; it was found bent in two at and acute angle, but not bent double, and has been straightened post-recovery. The coin was probably minted by Robert at Ipswich. This coin has been recorded on the EMC as 2019.0072. John Sadler lists only one other coin of Wulfsige in this type from the mint of Ipswich (now in Ipswich Museum).
