An incomplete lead Papal bulla probably of Pope Nicholas III (1277-80). It has been folded and broken post-deposition, neither the reverse or obverse are entirely clear. The reverse depicts the face of Saint Paul, moulded in bas relief surrounded by a separate pellet border with a croziernd enclosed within a circumferencial border. An incomplete lead hooked tag of probable Early Medieval date. It consists of a circular boss with two pierced attachment loops, the hook is missing, with iron corrosion present around a circular hole in the disc. Decoration comprises a prominent boss in the centre of three sets of double-line in counter-relief. A lead complete possible Viking gaming piece. It is oval in cross-section, with a copper-alloy rod in the centre, it has a flat, mis-shapen base. It tapers towards its upper terminal end. A similar, solid, possible gaming piece has been found at Long Melford, Suffolk see SF-C01997, Little Wilbraham, Cambridgehsire see SF-50B784, and two hollow very simliar examples have also been found at Little Wilbraham, Cambridgeshire, see SF-6F5256 and SF-6F7361. An incomplete lead Seal Matrix of Medieval date (AD 1200-1300). The object is composed of a flat circular disc with an incomplete suspension loop at the apex of the reverse. The front of the object is decorated with an incised motif composed of a central five pointed linear star within an inner and outer circular boarder, between which is an inscription in retrograde, which reads: +S’ROBERT:ShURN.I, or Seal of Robert Shurn - probably a surname.  Diameter: 23.72mm Weight: 14.80g

An incomplete flat disc lead seal matrix of Medieval date, missing a suspension loop. The outer face/die is decorated with the central design of a a flower, flaring at it's lower end into a triangular shape, with three curving leaf-like motifs. This is surrounded by a solid line inner circle followed by the inscription +S IOIH' hENR'  FIL ALEXAVD, perhaps reading Seal of John Henry Son of Alexander? The simple motif and personalised legend suggests a 13th century date (Harvey & McGuiness 1996, 87-8).  Diameter: 30.47mm Weight: 28.52g
