A Medieval - Post Medieval lead token - wine taverns.
Obverse: Shield decorated with vertical parallel lines
Reverse: Possibly a stylised face with lentoid eyes, nose that extends up between the eyes to also depict the eye brows, oval mouth with upturned corners and an oval tongue all within a border of parallel lines.
Dimensions: diameter: 13.75mm; thickness: 0.59mm; weight: 0.62g.

a medieval lead 'Boy Bishop' token. It is extemely worn, with a crack almost dividing it into 1/3 and 2/3. The inscription is ilegible, but a bishop's mitre can just be made out.

A lead token with a ship with mast and braces on the obverse and blank reverse. Arthur MacGregor assigns it to the 13th - 14th Century and notes it is non-specific to a person or place. Alternatively it may be a 16th century coin weight for a half noble (Biggs 1992:27).
