An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1690 - 1720.  The buckle is sub-rectangular with a drilled frame for a separate spindle. Moulded transverse grooves are present over each spindle hole. The spindle is retained around which a triangular pin is fitted by a closed loop. A ‘cooking-pot’ chape is also retained around the spindle, though the outer edge is lost to worn breaks. Patches of a white metal coating are present on the surface of the buckle. An incomplete copper alloy double loop buckle dating to about  AD 1550-1650. One loop is missing. There are two projecting knops on the outer edge of the bevelled loop of the buckle.  There are two stubs on either side of the pin bar where the other loop would have been attached. There is a knop at each end of the pin bar. The pin bar is rectangular in profile. The reverse is flat. The measurements are; length 19.4mm, width 15.1mm, thickness 3.3mm, and weight 2.82g. A copper alloy Medieval buckle; a broken incomplete a single looped D shaped buckle probably of Meols type 2, dating from AD 1250 - 1350. The outer edge is expanded, and there is are two small ridges forming a rest for the pin. The frame is distorted and broken, but the missing bar appears to have been offset. The pin and plate are missing. The patina is green and brown. It is 24.17mm long, 14.57mm wide and 2.45mm thick. 1.53g. The maximum width of the strap is about 19mm.

An incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy double loop asymmetrical buckle, dating from about AD 1575-1700.  The back surface of the buckle is flat, but the front is bevelled. It has one rectangular and one D-shaped loop, separated by a central strap bar. The sides of the frame are straight and parallel. A cast copper-alloy buckle of medieval date (c.AD 1250-1400). The single loop buckle has ornate outer edges and a narrowed offset strap bar. The outer edge is decorated with a central barrel moulding flanked by a rounded knop on each side. Both faces have the same decoration. The pin is present, and the object has a green patina. Dimensions: Length 14.3m, Width 16.0mm, Thickness 4.8mm, Weight 1.58g. Similar examples can be found in Whitehead’s buckles (2003, p. 21).

The obverse of the frame is convex and decorated with a dome shaped groove in which there is a wave decoration following the bottom straight edge. The reverse is concave and undecorated. The object has a Verdigris patina. Dimensions: Length 15.9m, Width 24.5mm, Thickness 5.8mm, Weight 2.66g. Similar examples can be found in Whitehead’s buckles (2003, p. 19).

A copper-alloy double looped buckle dating to the early post-Medieval period, about AD 1500 - 1650. The buckle has an oval frame made up of two opposing D shaped loops. The frame is D shaped in cross section and angles up from the central bar. There is a small knop at each end of the bar. The pin is copper alloy but obscured by corrosion. It has an overall dark-green patina. Measurements are; length 33.6mm, width 23.2mm, thickness 9.4mm and weight 5.70g. Similar buckles are illustrated in Whitehead (2003), p. 54, especially number 310
