An incomplete copper-alloy button of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1600 - 1750. The button is discoidal and flat. The upper surface is decorated with a central ring and dot design from which four equidistant arms comprised of zig-zags extend. The space between the arms has leaf motifs formed of incised lines. The reverse displays a scar from an integral shanks which is lost to a worn break. The metal has a dark green/grey patina and is worn. The button is 16.7mm in diameter, 2.7mm thick and weighs 2.8g.
