An incomplete copper-alloy probable vessel handle of medieval date, c.AD 1200 - 1500. The object has a flat triangular terminal with a central rivet hole by which it would have attached to the vessel proper. The edges of the terminal are bevelled. A sub-square sectioned handle extends from one corner of the front of the terminal, bending at an approximately 90 degree angle into a long arm, and forming a rough z-shape when viewed in profile. A complete lead button of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1600 - 1700. The button is circular with a convex front and a flat back. The front face of the button is decorated with a faint six-spoked wheel within a wide recessed border. The reverse of the button is flat and undecorated with a prominent casting flash along the centre on which a rectangular attachment loop is set. The loop is off-centre. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1350 -1450. Meols Type 7. The buckle is a single looped D-shape with an expanded outer loop and narrowed and recessed bar. Knops are present to either end of the bar. The outer loop has a D0shpaed profile with raised moulded decoration on the upper surface. The decoration is worn and its nature cannot be determined. The metal has a dark red/brown patina and is worn. The buckle is 20.1mm long, 14.8mm wide, 2.8mm thick and weighs 2.6g. An incomplete copper-alloy harness fitting terret ring of Roman date, c.AD 50 - 150. Lewis Triple Projection (Double Stud) Type. The fitting comprises a sub-rectangular vertical attachment bar with one remaining sub-ovate collar terminal to one end. The opposite end displays a worn break. From the surviving collar a circular sectioned loop extends, curving and tapering to a worn pointed break. A single integral low moulded stud remains close to the break. Lead alloy toy. Hollow cast toy soldier, naturalistically modelled at a scale of 1:32 or 54mm, representing a marching drummer in full dress British uniform. A drum with its cords is integrally cast as part of a model with fixed arms, probably with trousers tucked into ankle boots. Extensive traces of red paint survive on the tunic, and pale and dark blue paint on the trousers. The head, one arm and both feet are lost.
