A complete lead or lead alloy weight of the Medieval to Post-Medieval period, dating from c. AD 1200 to AD 1800.
The weight consists of a globular oval shape, with an integral sub triangular suspension loop at the top of the weight. The loop has a lozenge (diamond shaped) in section. A vertical ridge is present around the midline, probably a remnant from a two piece mould used in the casting process. One side of the weight has a recessed centre with a raised long cross on it, positioned centrally. The other side has a deep groove running vertically.

The weight is circular in shape, with a flat cross section. The front has been decorated with a forward facing head, with tendrils or snakes extending from the top of the head, and curving round the face. Similar to that of a Medusa style face with snakes as hair. The face is triangular in shape, with a horizontal slit mouth, and circular eyes. The reverse is flat and undecorated.

A fragment of Roman ceramic Verulamium Region Coarse White-slipped ware (VCWS) ring-neck flagon with neck and handle remaining, Hadrianic to Antonine date AD120-190. The fragment consists of the flagon neck with a handle of four ribs and a four rilled rim. The flagon is undecorated aside from the rim, the exterior surface has a thin white slip and the interior is an oxidised red. The fabric is oxidised red with numerous sand inclusions throughout.
Similar flagons can be seen in Davies, Richardson and Tomber (1994:56 fig.46 No.251-253).

An incomplete Post Medieval ceramic Raeren stoneware shoe/boot dating from AD 1500-1550. The remaining shoe consists of part of the lower leg, ankle and heel part of the shoe, the toe is now missing. The shoe is decorated with a series of stamped dots which represent stitching. The shoe has a grey fabric and glossy grey glaze on both the interior and exterior. A very similar shoe can be seen in Hurst et al (1986:207 fig. 100.323) found at Alkmaar, Netherlands which had a moulded face on the toe area, it is probable that this shoe had the same decoration. The vessel fragment is sub rectangular in shape and sub rectangular in cross section. It consists of a straight body, with an external central rib. The internal surface is smooth. At the top of the leg, an irregular surface is present, this would have adjoined to the base of the cauldron. The base of the foot is slightly abraded.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy drop handle from a vessel of Medieval date circa AD 1270 -1600.
The incomplete handle consists of a zoomorphic terminal end, probably representing a dog's head. The terminal has a rivet through the centre of the mouth, with other features (eyebrows and hair ridges) defined by cast in relief with incised lines finishing the decoration.
It measures 22.2 mm in length, 17.0 mm wide and 13.8 mm thick. It weighs 21.2 g.

An incomplete copper alloy modern zoomorphic vessel or furniture foot of Modern dating (AD 1800 to AD 1950).
The object takes the form of a three-toed, clawed birds foot. A flat plate projects at a right-angle from the angle, terminating in a split break where the edges of a circular attachment hole is visible. This hole has an internal diameter of 2.8 mm. Two supportive knops project from the centre and rear edge of the base.
It measures 30.1 mm in length, 16.4 mm wide and 16.8 mm thick. It weighs 5.5 g.
