Copper alloy mount and a copper alloy ring, probably for the suspension of a vessel. Probably Late Iron Age or Early Roman. The round-sectioned ring, complete but sprung apart at a break, is engaged with a loop at the top of the mount, below which two arms clasp a fragment of iron. The arms taper from the loop before expanding into rounded terminals, in the centre of which there is a copper alloy rivet. Some detail is obscured by corrosion. External and internal diameters of ring c.20 and c.15mm. Length and width of mount 24 and c.7mm. Thickness of iron c.3 - 4mm. No good parallel note…

Part of a post-medieval copper alloy spur side with a symmetrically placed figure-of-eight terminal, before which are two pairs of triangular lateral projections, each with a transverse engraved groove on the front face. Another groove runs along the terminal between the attachment holes. Cf SF-3E35D9 and SF-7DBB1E. Extant length 25.4mm. Width 13.5mm. The complete spur must have been rather weak: at the break and between the projections the side is only 4mm in width. Thickness 2.3mm. 17th century.

A post-Medieval copper-alloy unidentified object which has been adapted from a Fourth Issue penny of George III (1760-1820), minted at the Soho mint, Birmingham and dated 1806 on coin. Spink: 3780. Obverse: GEO[RG]IVS III D G RE[X] 1806; Bust, laureate draped right. Reverse: [BRITANNIA]; [Britannia seated left]. Diameter: 34.0mm. Weight: 15.88g. The coin has been adapted for another use. There is an off-centre circular hole with a diameter of 9.9mm. There are two further circular holes which are diametrically opposed. These have a diameter of 2.8mm.

Abraded post-medieval copper alloy harness mount with a slightly convex front face and with the stumps of two integral round-sectioned attachment spikes on the flat reverse. The greater part is kite-shaped with a low transverse rib joining the change of angle in the sides. One end of the kite merges into a leaf-shaped or perhaps slender acorn-shaped terminal. No exact parallel for the form has been found, but it is very broadly comparable with LANCUM-56C9B9, NARC-4251DF. Length 27.7mm. Width 11.8mm. Thickness 2mm. 17th century.

A retouched flint flake of the Neolithic period, dating to 4500-2500 BC. It is a secondary flake, which has been manufactured from a darkish grey flint core. The flake has a sub-rectangular shape in plan and still retains a cream coloured cortex on the dorsal face. The ventral face has a bulb of percussion close to the only straight edge of the flake and concentric ripples. On the ventral face, one of the long edge has short sub parallel retouches.
