An incomplete early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy small-long brooch in two sections. One section comprises the head of the brooch and the other the central part of the brooch, while the foot is missing. The head consists of a flat, undecorated, trefoil-shaped plate with semi-circular mouldings projecting from the outer end and from each side. To its reverse single pin lug projects from the centre, covered with iron corrosion.  An incomplete Medieval copper alloy locking key, probably for a casket, dating to c AD 1250 - 1300. It has a circular bow and and an at least partly hollow, oval section, shank or stem. There is a small section of the shank missing at the extreme outer end. There is a simple bit with two wards, one on each end of the bit, adjacent to the shank, and two more at the base of the shank.  Dimensions: 33.8mm in length; 10.1mm in width (diameter of bow); 4.32g in weight Goodhall I.H. in Biddle illustrates a similar key: no. 3760 which dates to mid 13th century…

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman plate brooch. The object is a pointed sub-oval shape. The outer face has a recessed circle in the centre with a small circular boss projecting from its centre. To one end of the reverse there is the remains of a single lug pin fitting and to the other end a catch-plate. An incomplete lead pilgrim's ampulla dating from the Medieval period; about AD 1270 - 1450. It is a châsse-like ampulla, inspired by the shape of a reliquary chest. The broken ampulla consists of the damaged rectangular neck of the ampulla, and a sub-rectangular phial which has a pointed top and base, rectangular main faces which are longer than they are high, and sub-rectangular end panels which have a point at the top and bottom. A copper-alloy object of probable Roman date. The object is a single cast piece. There is a thin, broken, sub-oval plate, with ring and dot decoration. The plate tapers at one end and widens to a square sectioned stem. This stem is bent over to lie flush with the decorated side of the plate. The front of the stem is decorated with a series of Xs.

A complete Late Iron Age to Roman copper alloy disc headed pin dating c.400 BC-AD 410. The head is circular and slightly bi-conical, with rounded edges. The upper side of the head has moulded decoration in the form of a central sub-circular recess with a raised central pellet; the recess is surrounded by two raised rings, with the upper surface sloping down to the edge. The shank has a sub-rounded section, tapering slightly to the pointed tip. The shank is bend twice along the length.

A rim sherd from a hand made carinated bowl of later Bronze Age to Iron Age date. The fabric is dark reduced grey throughout with coarse sand / grit temper. The surfaces are heavily iron stained. The exterior has decoration comprising fine horizontal combed or scratched lines running down from the carination. The rim is plain and slightly everted with an original diameter of around 200mm.

A strap handle from a jug or flagon of a medieval greyware, c. 12th - 13th century. The fabric is reduced grey, hard fired and sandy with heavily iron stained surfaces from prolonged deposition in a riverine environment. The handle has a U-shaped cross section and the exterior side has incurved scalloped edges. There are vitrified areas and an overall malformation suggesting that this may be a kiln waster.

A heavily abraded rim fragment from a large medieval vessel, possibly a jug, with a buff coloured sand-tempered fabric. The fragement includes part of the rim, which had an original internal diameter of around 150mm and has an exterior flange to seat a lid. Below this is an abraded stump of a strap handle, decorated with pierced holes. The exterior surface has splashes of a green glaze.
