The leg has a triangular cross section, tapering slightly to a small foot which is largely missing, removed by a smooth drilled(?) break. The upper end has a curved section of vessel wall remaining. One side of the leg has been damaged by drilling in two places.
The drill marks possibly represent an attempt to break up the metal for recycling.
