Incomplete post-medieval tin-coated copper alloy spoon, with almost all of the round-sectioned stem missing. The bowl is oval with a rat tail on the underside. Extant length 39mm. Bowl 35.5 x 19mm. Length of rat tail 18mm. Cross-section of stem at junction with bowl 3mm. c.1660 - c.1750.

Slightly squashed post-medieval copper alloy thimble with a pair of encircling lines within a plain band above the base. The rest of the sides and the low conical top are covered with a continuous spiral of oval indentations. A circular maker's mark, of an equal-armed cross, is stamped before the start of the spiral. Diameter c.17mm. Height 23.5mm. Probably a Nuremberg product. c.1520 - c.1620.

Sheet copper alloy "paper-clip" rivet. Such objects were most commonly used for the repair of metal vessels. Most are likely to date to the medieval or post-medieval period, but some are earlier, such as examples from Late Saxon contexts at Flixborough (Rogers, N. in Evans and Loveluck 2009, 115-7). In this case the sheet is folded around iron c.2mm thick. 30 x 14mm. c.1300 - c.1700.

The oval-sectioned copper alloy pin has a large convex collar decorated with incised oblique lines, and a butted join. Diameter 28mm (internal diameter: 22mm). Length of pin: 27mm. 14th century.

Fragments of two post-medieval copper alloy rowel spurs, all breaks old: - both terminals missing from narrow D-sectioned sides, one side distorted, the other little more than a stump. There is no crest with the very short neck being of the same thickness as the height of the junction of the sides (6mm). The rowel box is bent and incomplete. Very lightweight and for a juvenile. 17th century. - short lengths of D-sectioned sides, crest height 10.7mm. Concave topped neck and rowel box very similar to Margeson 1993, 220, nos. 1799 and 1800. Iron rowel pin. First half 17th century.

Very abraded central part of a medieval copper alloy purse bar of Williams 2018 Class A2. The lower end of the swivelling loop remains with the shield-shaped block. Most of the niello inlay has been lost. The two sides of the block are indecipherable. On one face of one stump of the bar the letters (?)P L can be discerned and an A remains on another. Extant length 57mm, of which the block accounts for 17.8mm. Height of block 17mm. Second half 15th century.
