Lead bag seal. Cast disc with four stamped rows of letters and numbers on one side and three on the other: [looks like] SHA/F.OB/AOVO/H33//PB/PRK/179, with opposed bifurcated slots in its edge. Patinated. This is a Russian customs seal, possibly from the St Petersburg customs office and probably attached to hemp or other bulk commodities imported for agricultural purposes. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1790-1799

A complete Post Medieval copper alloy (tombac) dandy button dating c. AD 1700 - 1800.
The button comprises a circular disc with a plain flat front. On the reverse is a raised cone from which projects the wire attachment loop. The button has a glossy green patina.
Diameter: 24.16mm; thickness: 10.61g and weight: 4.81g.
The form is suggestive of an 18th century date (Bailey, Buttons and Fasteners, page 40). Compare: SUSS-6AC30F; WMID-D9A607 and SUSS-08DC83.

Copper alloy button. Discoid plano-convex maritime uniform button of composite construction retaining a drawn wire loop now pressed against the back. The front bears the motif of a crowned anchor and cable flanked by letters R R in a Gothic script. The motif is bordered by a plain inner order and a cabled outer edge. Indistinct traces of a maker’s back stamp appear on the reverse. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900

Cast spherical one-piece animal bell, larger than usual, with opposed blowholes – though of the usual size – in its upper hemisphere and two larger opposed oval sounding holes linked by a sounding slot across the lower hemisphere, probably with a wider moulded border round it. A relatively small rectangular loop projects from the top. A medial rib marks the meeting of the hemispheres. Abraded. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1550-1650

A complete post medieval copper alloy one piece button, dating between AD 1550-1700
The button is circular in plan, with a convex upper face and concave reverse. The upper face features an incised central motif of a six pointed star, with crescent shapes between each point. A copper alloy probable buckle fragment of Post Medieval date, c. AD 1550 - 1650.
The object is only a fragment and consists of the centre part of the outer edge frame. It is pointed oval in cross section. It is decorated with a sub-triangular moulding, containing a raised lozenge shape and two annulets. Either side of this moulding is a raised collar. The reverse is undecorated.
The buckle is green / grey in colour with an even surface patina.
Measurements: length 16.4mm, width 6.6mm, thickness 3.9mm, weight 1.2 grams.

B in triangle formation (WS with P above) cast in relief with three pellets in triangle formation. This arrangement of letters is very similar to the trade tokens which date to AD 1648-1674.
