An incomplete medieval cast copper alloy single loop buckle with its plate. The frame probably would have had a thickened and decorated front edge, however it has broken across both sides close to the bar which is recessed and offset and retains the plate which is wrapped around it. The plate is undecorated and tapers towards the rear end. A portion of the copper alloy pin is retained on the bar.

A complete medieval copper alloy composite strap end. Both plates and the spacer are retained; the plates are rectangular, tapering slightly to a rounded terminal with a small projection. Rivets are retained at the centre of the front and rear ends. There is no decoration. Circa 14th-15th century.

A copper alloy probable buckle fragment of Post Medieval date, c. AD 1550 - 1650. The object is only a fragment and consists of the centre part of the outer edge frame. It is pointed oval in cross section. It is decorated with a sub-triangular moulding, containing a raised lozenge shape and two annulets. An incomplete cast copper-alloy stirrup terminal of late Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon/Anglo-Scandinavian) date. The terminal has a hollow back that is semi-cylindrical in form and missing part of its attachment end due to old breaks. This contains traces of a white substance, probably used to solder the terminal to the now missing stirrup and is closed at the base.
