Copper alloy finger ring. Cast penannular band, tapering to opposed points opposite the bezel, which comprises a moulded bar with five small pits for inset glass stones [lost]. A moulded V appears at each shoulder. Probably a ‘fairing’ or item of trinket jewellery. Copper alloy possible finger ring. Cast D-section band, slightly narrowed at one point which, if indeed a finger ring, would be opposite the bezel. The latter, and the rest of the band, is plain. Abraded. The wearing of finger rings was a men’s custom for the Romans, and this band would have to be for a youth or gracile individual if indeed worn on the finger.
