A sherd of 'Trevisker Ware' pottery dating from the Middle Bronze Age (c.1600-1200 BC). A sub-rectangular body sherd form a large storage vessel 45 mm long, 48 mm wide, 15 mm in thickness and 36.75 g in weight. The fabric is a gabbroic (made from clay that weathered over the gabbro stone on the Lizard) with inclusions of pale feslpar and dark augite. An incomplete Early Medieval cast copper-alloy horse harness fitting, or bit link, Anglo-Scandinavian in style, dating from c.AD 1000-1100. The bit link 36.5 mm in length, 23.3 mm in width, 7 mm in height and 4 mm in thickness and 15.3 g in weight. The bit link has a circular looped terminal, 17 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness, which is decorated with three projecting knobs. A small cast copper-alloy double-looped spectacle buckle. The buckle is 21 mm long, 15 mm wide, 2 mm in thickness and 1.55 g in weight. The strap bar is intact, trapezoidal in section, 1.2 mm in width, but the pin is missing and there is little wear on the bar. The loops are D-shaped in plan and in section with bevelled inner edges and there are three transverse engraved lines on each loop.
