Copper alloy vessel fragment, as kindly suggested by the finder. A triangular section curving bar, expanding to an everted thickened rounded terminal at one end, broken at the other. Subsequently fiercely abraded, with more damage to the outer side of its curved form than elsewhere. The finder kindly suggests a function as a detached vessel handle. This reporter would deem the triangular section and keeled appearance more likely to point to a vessel leg. A complete cast copper alloy Medieval annular buckle dating to c.1250-1450.
The frame is circular and undecorated, and has a circular cross section. The pin is rounded rectangular in cross section tapering to a point with a closed penannular loop at the other end where it is attached to the frame. There is a worn rectangular raised ridge, or grip on the upper surface of the pin below the loop.There is no pin constriction which suggests it is a buckle, not an annular brooch. A Medieval copper alloy bar mount and pendant loop. The ring is 9.6mm in diameter, with a flat cross section and a flat rear edge forming a suspension bar. It is held by a bar mount which is comprised of a folded J-shaped strip of copper alloy, 11.8mm in length, which loops around the ring and has the reverse end held in place by a rivet. An incomplete medieval cast copper alloy single loop buckle with its plate. The frame probably would have had a thickened and decorated front edge, however it has broken across both sides close to the bar which is recessed and offset and retains the plate which is wrapped around it. The plate is undecorated and tapers towards the rear end. A portion of the copper alloy pin is retained on the bar.

A Late Medieval lead alloy cross and pellets token, London series, AD1425-1490. The obverse has a Tin workers strake, in the field surrounded by a border of oblique rays. The reverse has a central short cross pattee with a ring and dot in each angle surrounded by a border of oblique rays. Mitchiner and Skinner (1984:146 Plate 5 fig.42) illustrates a similar token. The oblique rays run in a clockwise direction upon both faces suggesting a London rather than Paris origin.
