A copper alloy Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a radiate (barbarous radiate) probably of Tetricus II, dating from AD 275 - 285 (Reece Period 14). The reverse design is unclear, but shows a clear palm leaf or branch similar to that on number 1898 of the Normanby Hoard. The coin is 18.3mm diameter, 1.6mm thick and 2.17g.

A copper alloy Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a radiate (barbarous radiate), possibly copying a coin of Claudius II (AD 268 - 270), but dating from AD 275 - 285 (Reece Period 14). The reverse is not clear, but may be VICTORIA AVG, depicting Victory advacing right. Compare Cunetio Catalogue number 2866 in plate 34. The coin is 15.5mm diameter, 2.1mm thick and 1.71g.

A Roman copper-alloy coin; a radiate, probably a contemporary copy (barbarous radiate) dating from AD 275 - 285 and probably copying a coin of Claudius II (AD 268 - 270) perhaps depicting Mars on the reverse, walking left, holding branch and spear, cloak flying behind. Compare Cunetio number 2226 on page 139 of The Cunetio and Normanby Hoards. The coin is 14.9mm diameter, 1.9mm thick and 1.14g.
