A copper alloy Roman coin; a radiate, possibly a contemporary copy of a RSR issue coin of Carausius (286 - 293) (Reece Period 14). The coin has a diameter of 20.3mm and is 1.8mm thick. It weighs 2.51g. The legend and design seem to be confused, suggesting that it is a barbarous radiate (a contemporary copy). This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC and has been published in the British Numismatic Journal Coin Register (BNJ 2009, p. 261, no. 32).
