An extremely worn and corroded copper-alloy contemporary or 'barbarous' copy of a Roman radiate nummus. Probably of the Gallic Empire, c. 3rd century AD. Both surfaces are too distorted and worn to identify; however, it is possible to discern traces of the obverse legend, which be indicate that this is a coin of Tetricus.
Obverse: traces of radiate head facing right.
Obverse legend: (TET?)[...]; uncertain, but lettering style also consistent.
Reverse: Standing 'barbarous' style figure; uncertain.
Reverse legend: [...] (NVS?)
