Copper alloy probable paint container, with white metal coating. A cast square object with a flat base, an internal sunken recess of 12.5mm square and 2mm deep, and with a flanged rim. This object is suggested to be a detachable paint holder or tray from a portable set of water-colour paints. Suggested date: Modern, 1900-1950 Length: 17.2mm, Width: 17.2mm, Thickness: 3.6mm, Weight: 4.13gms

An incomplete ceramic Crockerton ware drip tray dating to the 17th or 18th century. The fabric has a powdery feel and is decorated with a slip internally. The majority of the rim of the drip tray is missing, the tray is likely to have been triangular and the handle survives and one corner section survives. The rim narrows at the corner to act as a spout. The surface of the tray is slightly convex. The base of the tray is flat. The handle terminates in a tapered projection.
