Two fragments of rim sherd of West Somerset type pottery, dating to the 16th - 17th century.
Possibly from a bowl, the fabric has sandstone inlusions, a thumbed applied strip under the rim, and an internal glaze, with an external green glaze just about visible.
A nearby production site for Medieval and Post Medieval West Somerset ware exisited at Nether Stowey, and was operational between 1250 - 1700.

An incomplete Late Bronze Age copper alloy tanged chisel, dating to c 1150 - 850 BC. The handle and blade is missing. The chisel was cast in one piece but can be described in two sections. It has a rectangular tang in subsection which abuts the ovoid-sectioned, collared handle stop of the chisel blade. At the other end would have been the chisel blade beyond the tang. At this point there is a worn break.
This artefact has a dark orange brown patina.

A Roman copper-alloy T-shaped brooch dating from 50 to 200 AD.
The brooch is incomplete with only the left wing and part of the right wing remaining. A small portion of the bow remains, and terminates in a worn break. The remaining wing has incised grooved decoration, c. 2mm from the end, and in the center of the crossbar a slot exists where the pin would have sat.
The bow extends down from the crossbar, with decoration consisting of two incised lines c. 1mm apart running down the center of the bow and terminating at the worn break.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy equal ended plate brooch, Bridge type, dating to c AD 100 - 200. It is missing its pin, foot, and the head terminates in a worn break. A fragment of Roman copper-alloy T-shaped brooch of Hull T139 type dating from 50 to 150 AD.
The brooch is fragmented so only the lower half of the bow remains, the foot and catchplate are missing.
The remainder of the bow is d-shaped in profile, with decoration consisting of two parrallel ridges running down the bow, below which sits two central mouldings. The bow below this is undecorated and narrows to the foot, which is missing, and ends in a worn break.
Similar types are seen in Bayley and Butcher 2004, 167, fig 140; Hattatt 2000, fig 163.

An incomplete and fragmented Roman copper-alloy T-shaped brooch of Wilsford type dating from 43 to 200 AD.
The headloop, pin, one wing, and the catchplate are missing. The brooch has been broken into two pieces halfway down the bow, the wear on the breaks appears modern. The head has one short cylindrical wings, 19.41mm wide, and the headloop which would have extended from the top of the crossbar has been broken off. The remaining wing is decorated with two grooved lines towards its outer edge.
