A heavily worn and incomplete post medieval Spanish or Spanish colonial "resellado" coin, probably originally a 4 Maravedis of Felipe III (1598-1621) with later 17th century revaluation counterstamps. Both sides have an octolobe, but no other details are legible. The counterstamps are XII, itself overstamped with a crowned VIII, probably dating to revaluation in c 1641 during the reign of Felipe IV (1621-1665).

A heavily worn and cleaned copper-alloy Spanish coin of the 17th century, possibly a 6 Maravedis of Philip (Felipe) IV (1621-1655). Uncertain mint. Measurements: 23.24mm in diameter and 3.1g in weight. Discussion: Over the course of the 17th century the Maravedis and its multiples fluctuated extensively in quality, weight and value. Without a clear legend it can be difficult to exactly identify the denomination. That being said during parts of the reign of Philip IV the 6 Maravedis was around 3.5g which is the closest weight for this coin. The identification is however tentative.

An extremely corroded possible copper-alloy coin: possibly a Spanish re-validated maravedis coin. These are often called 'cob' coins: they were crudely made in Spain initially and later in the Americas for use in the Spanish colonies. The coinage was re-valued and consequently these are often countermarked. The flan is an irregular shape, slightly squared off in places, and the designs and stamps indiscernible. Cf. DOR-324563 of similar mass.
