An assemblage of late neolithic to early medieval firestones. This is a small group of nine identified firestones is being recorded as a representative sample of a much larger group of firestones locally dispersed on a field associated with anglo scandinavian and late neolithic to early bronze age finds. The brown stones appear to be from the same large pebble. They are crumbly in texture , appear to be porous, break easily and have fracture lines on the remaining outer surface. Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age flint knife, made from blade of opaque Lincolnshire Wolds flint/ Dorsal face flat, showing the use of a soft hammer. Ventral face bears two main facets and at one end is an area of neat retouch, invasive, sub-parallelled, low angle. The knife has been burned and its surfaces are covered with craze-cracking. This burning suggests the presence of a hearth in the immediate area. Length 36.2mm, Width 24.1mm, Thickness 6.0mm, Mass 5.08g.

Incomplete piece of flint, possibly a scraper. The flint is almost arrow shaped but has a larger eastern side, and it appears to have had its top and base either snapped or broker off. Its obverse shows some signs of knapping and has a raised surface, whereas the reverse is predominantly flat. It has a light grey patina. The object weighs 12.4g, and has a width of 33.01mm and a length of 38.05mm. It is 10.30mm thick at its thickest point.

A complete flint laurel leaf dating to the early Neolithic period (c. 4000-2500 BC to 1200 BC). The object has been formed from a secondary flake of dark grey, semi-translucent flint. The remaining cortex is reddish-brown in colour. The tool is asymmetric, sub-lentoid in plan and roughly D-shaped in cross-section. The retouch across both faces is scaled and invasive becoming semi-abrupt to abrupt along cutting edges on opposing faces.
