A sherd of 'Trevisker Ware' or Grooved Ware pottery dating from the Neolithic - Middle Bronze Age (c.1600-1200 BC). The sherd is sub-rectangular in form and has been broken into two pieces. The fabric is gabbroic (clay that weathers over the gabbro stone on the Lizard) with inclusions of pale feldspar, dark augite and mica.
