A worked flint tool, probably an early Bronze Age plano-convex knife. The striking platform is clearly visible where the blade was struck from its core, and there is a clear bulb of percussion and bulb scar on the ventral face of the flint, caused by the pressure when struck. The flint has been subject to invasive pressure flaking on the dorsal face, although this does not extend to cover the whole face and is limited to the tip and edges of the flint. A complete cast bronze Irish ingot style flat axehead, dating to the Early Bronze Age, between 2150 - 1500 BC (length: 114.5mm; width near blade edge: 61mm; thickness: 9mm; weight: exceeds weight limit of scales). The axehead is sub-triangular in plan and convex in section. The blade's cutting edge is worn and, overall, the artefact is in a worn and poor condition with pitting on the surface and none of the original patina remaining.
