Fragment of copper-alloy rib-bladed ?side-looped ?spearhead. The fragment is from the lower part of the blade, and retains part of the midrib/socket. The blade is basically flat, but has a curving rib on both faces which runs roughly parallel to the blade edge, about a third of the way from the edge to the midrib. Deep brown patina. The breaks (paler green/brown) are not recent but are probably not ancient. Surviving length 46 mm, weight 17.0g. The curving rib is unusual. It is likely that it derives from the straight ribs on the Irish kite-shaped side-looped spearheads of the early Mi…

Copper-alloy tanged and lugged tool, blade broken but probably chisel-ended. The tang is 4 mm wide and tapers from 4 mm thick at the junction with the blade, to a point at the other end. The blade starts 14 mm wide but quickly narrows with curving edges to 6 mm wide before flaring slightly to 8 mm wide at the (old) break. Deep brown patina. Surviving length 87 mm, weight 12.6g. Lugged chisels/tracers of related forms are found in chronologically widely separated contexts, from the Arreton tradition of the late Early Bronze Age to the Ewart Park phase of the Late Bronze Age. A dagger with rounded 'point, slim sub-triangular shaped in plan, badly damaged edges which taper rapidly from the blunt end to approximately one third of the way along the dagger, the remainder of the blade tapers more gently, and for the last quarter of the blade the edges are almost parallel prior to their curving over at the point. The blunt end has a short wide tang and slightly curved shoulders. There is no remaining evidence of fixing holes or other fixing arrangements. The dagger is a shallow pointed oval in mid blade section, where the width is approximately 4.55mm.

Copper-alloy rapier tip. Extensive small pocking with green corrosive products due to bronze disease, elsewhere deep brown patina. Ancient break, also patinated deep brown. Marked edge damage (not due to corrosion); tip has been re-sharpened down to the mid-rib. Not enough survives to be certain of the form of the mid-rib - it may be rounded, or flat further down the blade. Length 68 mm, surviving width 19 mm max, thickness 4 mm.
