A Late Bronze Age, gold, square-sectioned, penannular bar-bracelet, dating to c.1300-800 cal BC. The body of the bracelet is solid, extended out and slightly twisted, flaring out at each terminal to a flattened off circle 5.5mm in diameter. Both termini are bent upwards, one at 90˚, the other at 45˚. The surfaces are scratched and abraded, but otherwise undecorated and smoothly finished. Bracelet 1 A complete and well crafted penannular bracelet with a band of thin, ‘C’ section. The section is, however, thickest at the centre, thinner, rounded and highly polished along the edges. The band tapers gently towards the squared off terminals, which are defined by a narrow beading created by turning the metal outward slightly.
