A section of an axe head of cast copper-alloy in a shape that probably indicates a later bronze age origin. The surface is corroded but relatively smooth and covered in reddish-brown corrosion products. The surviving portion consists of the blade edge and a small amount of the body. No ridges or wings are visible. Measurements:- Total length:- 60.6 Greatest thickness laterally:-6 width of blade top to bottom:-59 Beginning of blade curvature to front of edge:- 25 Longitudinal thickness at midpoint:-38
