A section of an axe head of cast copper-alloy in a shape that probably indicates a later bronze age origin. The surface is corroded but relatively smooth and covered in reddish-brown corrosion products. The surviving portion consists of the blade edge and a small amount of the body. No ridges or wings are visible.
