A post-Medieval cast copper alloy spur hook. The object has a narrow hooked arm to attach to an eye of the spur terminal, with flanking lobes half way down and a lozengiform rear terminal. This is drilled to take a rivet with a domed and teardrop-shaped head acting as an integral rove to attach to the leathers. Circa 16th-17th century.

An incomplete copper-alloy rowel spur of Post-Medieval date, c.1600 – 1800AD. The spur consists of an ovate sectioned neck which splits to one end forming the rowel box. The rowel is now missing. The curved arms with a D-shaped section. Both arms have been bent and distorted, but each terminate with a pair of button-headed rivets. The spur has a mid-green patina and is worn. An incomplete copper alloy Post Medieval spur (c. AD 1600-1750). The rowel is missing. The gap between the terminals is 68.32mm and each terminal consists of a figure-of-eight double off-set loop that joins the arm at a moulded collar. The moulded collar is more pronounced on the right arm than the left arm. An incomplete Post Medieval copper-alloy spur dating to circa AD 1650-1800. The extant element consists of terminal of one of the spur's arms and separately made copper alloy strap hook. Arm he arm fragment is broadly rectangular in plan with a plano-convex cross-section and terminates with two loops in a figure of 8 arrangement. I.The loops are rectangular sectioned. One loop retains the strap hook. The spur frame is made from a grey alloy with a high tin content and would have appeared silvery when new. Medieval copper-alloy multi-pointed spur rowel. It is disc with a central near-circular perforation and thirty projecting points, many of which are complete. The points emerge a few millimetres from the perforation as moulded radial ridges on both faces of the disc. They eventually project beyond it to a maximum of approximately seven millimetres. An incomplete copper alloy possible spur fragment or strap end. There is one rounded and worn end, possibly orginally heart shaped, with incised diagonal lines forming a cross shape.  The sides then taper in and protrude outward to two opposing knops. The surviving arm is gently curved with a broadly triangular cross-section and slightly convex reverse face. One end terminates in a worn break and the other with a double looped, figure-of-eight terminal set at 45°.
