Part of a champlevé enamel and gilded copper anthropomorphic representation of a saint, depicting the nimbate head of a clean shaven male figure, looking a little to his left. A fragment of a copper-alloy plaque of probable medieval date, c.AD 1300 - 1500.
The plaque is sub-rectangular with a pointed break to the upper edge. The right edge (when viewed from the front) is also broken and worn.
The front surface is decorated with a partial letter, possibly an ‘I’, against a background of incised cross-hatched lines set within a raised border.
The reverse is flat and undecorated, and no obvious means of attachment remain.
The metal has a dark black/brown patina and is worn. The object is 36.1mm long, 27.7mm wide, 3.7mm thick and weighs 16.5g.

A small fragment of a smashed stone object made from a fine-grained micaceous metamorphic rock (which is not of local origin to the findspot). One face is smooth and clearly well finished. It has incised lines forming a zig-zag pattern, which may be partial angular letter forms in Roman captials with thin stems and small serifs. The object is rectangular with one broken edge. It measures 25mm x 18.5mm and is 5.3mm thick, weighing 10.1g. A lead maker's name-plate or plaque of Modern date, probably post AD 1750. The plaque is sub-circular or oval in design and has a scalloped edge. One end is sheared off and is missing. Two copper alloy plates that may have been mounted as a plaque or other ornamental feature. The larger of the two pieces has depth to it, and has a partially raised design running along the length. It is difficult to discern but is probably a vine or floral motif of some description. The plaque is irregular in shape, it consists of a moulded scene depicting a winged cupid, riding a possible dragon right, blowing a hunting horn. Wings are outstretched behind. The reverse is flat.

Lead plaque of Medieval to Post Medieval date. A uniface circular disc of lead. The front is decorated with a moulded design of a shield surrounded by leaves and framed inside two concentric circles and with a floral pattern of alternating sprigs and cinquefoils around the outer edge. The shield is the Royal shield of England which was in use between 1406 and 1603. The reverse is smooth and undecorated.

An incomplete copper alloy domed plaque depicting a horse galloping left, of eighteenth century dating (AD 1700 to AD 1800).
The probable plaque is sub oval in shape, and domed. The front depicts a horse galloping left on a speckled background, with a pellet by the front leg and a pellet by the back leg. The horse's tail is held upwards. The reverse is concave and undecorated.
It measures 30.0 mm wide, 18.6 mm in length and 4.8 mm thick. It weighs 7.9 g.
The probable plaque is dark green in colour and has an even surface patina.
This may be 18th century sword related.

A copper alloy sheet metal Roman Plague of the Roman period AD 43-410. The circular plaque is plain in design but consists of 32 raised punched dots around the outer circumference. It also has three crudely punched mounting holes that show the raised dots are intended to be the front of the item.
Reference : Benet's Roman Artefacts 2016 : Page 260 item PL-4340 (Similar). The illustrated one has a "Head of Roma" at 62mm Diameter.

Roughly rectangular lead plaque with the image of the Madonna and Child cast in high relief. The robed Virgin stands on a cloud, holding Jesus on her left arm and resting her right hand on her chest. The cloud is flanked by the heads of two cherubs or putti, both of whom face inwards and one also looks upwards. The edges are bevelled and show signs of having been trimmed with a sharp cutting edge. The object is flat and shield shaped with three lead rivet heads on the reverse. The decorated side carries raised letter of "THE [...]ON" (with speech marks) and a raised outside edge. It is possible that the letter originally read The Tavon, with a misspelling of the word Tavern and may be a lead sign or furniture fixture for a local pub or other company.
