Copper alloy pPicture frame fragment. Cast fragment from a flanged ring of estimated internal diameter 60mm which appears to have broken from or lost a projecting element behind - the back of the ring is stepped and bevelled with the rough surface where broken along its internal edge. A legend: [GRE]AT GRIMSBY is stamped by hand into the outer surface of the ring with semi-circular and straight bladed punches. This appears to be a souvenir or keepsake.
