Medieval or Post Medieval end-blown hornpipe made from antler, with fingerholes. The horn is broken at the end and is missing its mouth piece. It is circular in section at the head becoming oval by the foot and widens evenly from the head to an irregular break at the foot. It is slightly curved in profile, probably reflecting the original shape of the antler. The head is narrowed with a short cylindrical section (tenon) then a distinct step in diameter to the main pipe. Down the front of the main pipe are seven holes, getting larger down the pipe.
