A fragment of a copper-alloy possible curry comb or saw blade of Medieval to Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1400-1900. The object is comprised of a rectangular iron sheet with fourteen sloping, angluar projections cut into one long edge forming comb or saw teeth. The other three sides are formed from blunt breaks. The object is undecorated. The metal is brown in colour with patches of green discolouration. The object is 66.4mm in length, 31.0mm in width, 1.3mm thick, and weighs 14.9g. An incomplete Post Medieval iron curry comb probably dating to 17th - early 18th century. This is a flat curry comb with 5 wrought bars; the handle is broken and missing. This curry comb comprises a flat rectangular back plate, the longer edges are folded over, and a row of triangular teeth have been cut into the edge. There are three further toothed bars that have been riveted onto the back plate. The handle was also riveted to the back plate, on the opposite side to the teeth.
